Our relaxed, one-to-one consultations are by appointment only and take place in our beautiful studio in the historic Cromford Mill, nestled in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales. We welcome bridal parties from across Derbyshire and the East Midlands — including Derby, Nottingham, Sheffield, Chesterfield and Ashbourne — with many brides already planning their own wedding gown with us and wanting their bridesmaids dressed with the same care.
Every dress comes from our curated collection — try on samples in studio, then we'll order, style, alter or customise your bridesmaids' dresses, followed by a full fitting service ahead of your big day.
A Curated Collection, Never Off the Peg
Our bridesmaid dresses come from a carefully curated collection — nothing is sold off the peg. At your appointment, you'll try on samples in our design studio to find the styles, fabrics and colours that work for your bridal party. Once you've chosen, each dress is ordered specifically for you, styled, altered or customised as needed, with a lead time of 4–6 months.
Once your order arrives, we offer a full fitting service to make sure every bridesmaid's dress is finished to the right fit before the big day.
With a large selection of colours and shades to choose from, plus the ability to style, alter or customise fabric and silhouette across your bridal party in our design studio, you can build a palette that ties in perfectly with your wedding theme, from soft neutrals to rich jewel tones — whether you want a matching look or a considered mix across your bridesmaids.

Do all my bridesmaids need to wear the same dress? No — many of our brides choose a mismatched or tonal approach, where each bridesmaid wears a different style or shade within an agreed colour palette. We can also do matching sets if you prefer a uniform look.
Can I try dresses on before ordering? Yes — at your appointment you'll try on samples in our design studio, so you can see fit, fabric and colour before anything is ordered. Nothing is sold off the peg; each dress is then ordered and styled, altered or customised for you.
How far in advance should I order bridesmaid dresses? Bridesmaid dresses are ordered specifically for your bridal party, with a lead time of 4–6 months. We'd recommend booking your consultation with this in mind ahead of your wedding date.
What's the price range for Yes Bridesmaids dresses? Our dresses sit above off-the-rack, high-street pricing and below designer boutique prices — reflecting the curated collection, styling and proper fitting service that comes with each dress. We're happy to talk through what fits your budget at your consultation.
Do you dress bridesmaids for weddings outside Derbyshire? Yes — we regularly work with bridal parties from Nottingham, Sheffield, Chesterfield and further afield across the East Midlands. Individual bridesmaids can also book their own fitting if they can't all attend together.
Can I book a bridesmaid appointment separately from my bridal gown appointment? Absolutely — Yes Bridesmaids can be booked as a standalone service, whether or not your wedding gown is with Yes Bridal Studio.
