Q. Ask us anything?
If you have any questions at all just ask! You’ve quite possibly not done this before so we’re here to help. No question is ever too silly and we want you to feel as comfortable as possible before, during and after your appointment. Call us or Email with your questions.
Q. When should I start shopping for my wedding dress?
We suggest that you start looking 9-12 months prior to your wedding date. Our dresses are all made to order, and due to the way that they are designed, it can take a couple of months for us to receive your made to order dress into the studio. We can offer a rush order that can reduce the production time by a small amount but there is a fee for this, please contact us for more information. Make sure you have your Venue and date confirmed as this can have a big influence on the type and style of dress that you might want.
Q. I would like to talk to someone before I book?
Of course, we understand you might want a quick chat with someone before booking your appointment. If you do, we’d love to hear from you and we can personally help book you in. Call on 01629 343115
Q. What size are your sample dresses?
We live by the philosophy that everyone is different and we should embrace our individuality and for that reason, our wedding dresses are stocked in a wide variety of sizes Our samples range from size 10 - 22. Don’t worry if you don’t fit in this size bracket we can still help you visualise how a dress will look in your size.
Q. How much are the wedding dresses in The Yes Bridal Studio?
At Yes our wedding dresses range in price from £800 to £2500, with an average price of £1200. We have a great selection of wedding dresses in lots of styles, to suit most budgets. We also have a selection of wedding dresses that are available off the rail, at a discounted price. Please get in touch for more details of these.
Q. How do I pay for my wedding dress?
Once you've chosen your wedding dress we have a number of options. You can place a 50% deposit when you order and pay the remaining 50% at your first fitting. We can also arrange a payment plan where we can split the total cost into smaller amounts between ordering and collection. Or if you wish you can pay in full via credit/debit card or bank transfer.
Q. Do I need to book an appointment?
As we are not on the high street we do ask that you make an appointment, this is so we can give you our undivided attention and the full Yes experience without any interruptions for 2 and a half hours. In that time you’ll have our complete bridal consultation and exclusive access to the studio and all of the wedding dresses.
However, if you are passing, and we don’t have another bride booked in, we are more than happy for you to pop in, have a browse and get some advice, please call us (01629 343115) though if you are intending to do this as we might be out and we don’t want you to have a wasted trip.
Q. Can I browse without an appointment?
As we offer a one to one exclusive use of the studio we do ask that bookings are made, however, as long as we don’t have another bride booked in, you are welcome to visit us, browse the collection and ask any questions you may have, please call though if you are intending to do this as we might be out and we don’t want you to have a wasted trip.
Q. Who should I bring?
It is an exciting time looking for your wedding dress, and we know you’ll have lots of people that you want to share the experience with. However we suggest a maximum of three guests, and we suggest you choose people that you trust will help you make the best decision for YOU! Your wedding dress is a very personal decision, and sometimes too many people and opinions can make it difficult. If you do feel you would like to bring more people, then please let us know before your appointment.
Q. What should I bring with me?
We suggest you wear nude seam-free underwear and if possible a nude strapless bra, any other support underwear you may want to wear is fine too! If you already have selected your shoes that you will be wearing for your wedding day please bring these with you to your appointment. Please avoid wearing fake tan as this can stain the dresses.
Q. Can I get my entire bridal outfit from you?
Pretty much yes! We stock a gorgeous range of headpieces, accessories and veils
Q. Can you do alterations?
All brides are individual both in style and shape and so our specialist bridal seamstress is on hand to ensure your wedding dress is the perfect fit for your body. All alterations are carried out in our beautiful boutique. Whether you need minor tweaks or you are looking for a more bespoke service our team is here to help.
