We think your style should be reflected in what you wear on your wedding day, so we listen when you tell us how you want to look and feel. We then use our 20 years experience in modern bridal fashion and the wedding industry to help you find your perfect wedding dress.
We have a selection of beautiful wedding dresses from the sleek, simple, elegant and classically cut to the fitted, hand-beaded tulle, lace, chiffon, silk and mikado. That said we are 100% meringue free. We have bridal gowns for every wedding, for every season and for every climate, from an English country garden wedding to a relaxed beach ceremony.
At Yes our wedding dresses range in price from £800 to £2500, with an average price of £1200.
We stock a gorgeous range of headpieces, accessories and veils, plus our specialist bridal seamstress is on hand to ensure your wedding dress is the perfect fit for your body.
We are bridal geeks and we love to say Yes! we want our name to reflect us and our ethos towards our brides. In the Yes studio we say anything is possible. As soon as you arrive we want to make you feel relaxed and excited about your journey to find your wedding dress, you're the one getting married and our purpose is to make you look and feel amazing.
The Yes Appointment
What makes the YES appointments unique and magical?
The studio is completely private and we can only see one bride at a time, so you have our full attention. We allow two and a half hours for each wedding dress consultation, so there is absolutely no RUSH.
We like to take our time to find out everything about you and your wedding, sometimes it can take longer (I just get carried away, it's so easy to lose hours). We go through all the details of your dream wedding dress and your day from what fabrics you like to what size heels you will be wearing and everything in between, we think that it's important to reflect your own style on your wedding day. We then start the fun bit…finding your amazing wedding dress! The studio is warm and cosy and we are quite good at hospitality (if we do say so ourselves :)) so nothing is to much trouble, in fact in the Yes studio “Anything is possible!”.

A bit about me...
When you book an appointment with Yes Bridal Studio you'll be booking with me, Libby. Who am I? well, from a young age I've been involved in fashion and design, my early career as a fashion model, started a passion for design, good tailoring and how garments should make you feel. After modelling in London for a while, I decided that I am more of a home bird and missed Derbyshire, the countryside and my wellies, there aren’t many runways or catwalks in the Midlands, so my modelling naturally either came to stop or I would have to commute or I could model locally and become a bridal model at wedding fairs and exhibitions so I dived into the world of wedding dresses! I met and worked for most of the worlds leading bridal-wear designers, so I've seen and worn some amazing wedding dresses and some that are best not talked about. I've seen styles, trends and fashions come and go and come back again. It's during this time that I met Wendy Makin and fell in love with her amazing dresses. I then began working full time as her agent in the UK and Europe, which has meant that for the past 10 years I've spent a lot of time with bridal shops and brides all over the country.
As you can see, life has lead me to open Yes Bridal Studio, I've always wanted to have my own bridal shop, but never been in the right position. Last October was the right time, so I set about finding our studio and Cromford Mill is the perfect location. I was really excited about furnishing the studio, to make it feel cosy and inviting. The most exciting day for me was hanging our amazing dresses in the studio, on the beautiful golden rails, I could not stop smiling..it was the best day seeing the whole studio come together.
The studio is such an amazing place to work, I just feel so at home there and all of my brides say the same, mums settle themselves down on the sofa with a cup of tea to watch and help their daughters find their perfect dress, its such a homely place with a warm friendly feel.
When I drive to the studio, through the stunning Derbyshire hills, I still can't believe that I have a bridal studio and it's in such an amazing part of the world, I walk into the studio and have to take a moment!
